A triple partnership agreement was signed in Ukraine in March 2007 with the Furshet retail group, under which two companies were established: one to develop the Auchan hypermarket chained and the other to develop shopping centres.
A 21.2% equity stake was also taken in Furshet supermarkets, which will continue to be managed by the Ukrainian group.

The Group began operating in 2008 in hypermarkets, retail real estate and banking. After creating 2 hypermarkets in 2008, the Group inaugurated 5 Auchan hypermarkets in 2009. The Group took over leasing contracts for 3 sites and 2 other hypermarkets were opened in Kiev.
