The Group follows strict rules of conduct in order to build loyal, equitable, long-term relationships with its growers and producers, small- and medium-sized suppliers, shopping mall tenants and the retail partners of Banque Accord.

In all of the countries where it is present, the group establishes a close partnership with SMEs and the agricultural sector. In creating its product ranges, Auchan Ukraine made it a priority to work with local companies. Thes now manufacture over 100 economy products sold exclusively through its stores. Small and medium-sized businesses also account for more than half of the 500 food suppliers of Auchan Hungary. In France, where 75% of Auchan products are manufactured by small- and medium-sized businesses, regular regional meetings are held to encourage the inclusion of more local produce. Small- and medium-sized businesses are also ideal partners for developing ranges with a high content of regional products. 
In Italy, Hungary and Portugal, for example, they are involved in developing exports of nationally-produced products to other Group operating countries. 

The Group's chains have also created their own brands of regional products. These include 115 "Sapori delle Regioni" products in Italy, 80 "Produits de région" (Local Products) in France and 70 regional products in Portugal.

For several years, the Western European chains have also been developing product ranges from agricultural supply lines: "Vida Auchan" products from reasonable farming in Portugal, "Filiera Controllata" products in Italy... In Spain, Alcampo has developed a “Producción Controlada AUCHAN” range.

In France, Auchan has been working for 10 years in partnership with 500 veal farmers in the Aveyron and Ségala counties of South-West France. These veal calves, which have been attributed the Label Rouge, are nursed on their mother’s milk as a complement to a cereal diet.
